Alannah and the Gargoyle - an illustration of one of the girls in an upcoming book I'm illustrating. Illustrating a scene from the story, Alannah is speaking to a stone gargoyle friend who lives in the forgotten cathedral of which she is a caretaker. She's holding a bucket, preparing to wipe down the front steps of the old building. My recent trip to Paris helped inspire the general feel for this painting (as well as the landscape & architecture). Alannah herself has stone wings and appears in shades of grey. These fine art prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 11"x8.5" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame, and the 19"x13" size fits a standard 12"x16" frame. Canvas prints are Hand Embellished, measure 14"x11" and are limited to an edition of 25.
