This is the 23rd original painting in my very popular "Alice in Wonderland" series - "Alice and Lewis" the title - a rather different interpretation of the classic character - this time shown with her creator -author Lewis Carroll (Charles Dodgson), seeming to gaze down upon his creation. Alice looks a bit bedraggled - but hey, she's been through a lot! The colours are subtle, almost sepia at times - giving the feel of a Victorian photograph. I really love this painting! There's almost an ominous, gothic feel to it, something I can't really describe. These fine art prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 8.5"x11" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame, and the 13"x19" size fits a standard 12"x16" frame. Canvas prints are Hand Embellished, measure 11"x14" and are limited to an edition of 25. The copyright watermark does not appear in the actual print! See below for detail images.
