Her name is Amara - this is a very special painting, as she's going to be featured in an upcoming book of short stories. This is a portrait of Amara, a Polynesian / Hawaiian type of fairy creature - also known as a Menehune - Amara is a name meaning "Paradise". She does live in a paradise, with a waterfall - bird of paradise plants, orchids, all kinds of tropical foliage. Menehune are often described as lovling bananas and rainbows, so I have included them in this painting as well. These fine art prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 8.5"x11" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame, and the 13"x19" size fits a standard 12"x16" frame.
