Cretaceous Mermaid - I'm the first to admit it, I'm a big dinosaur/paleontology nerd, and made this painting for the sheer pleasure of it. The Cretaceous Period would have been a very perilous time for mermaids. Feisty mosasaurs, plesiosaurs, all the fantastic marine reptiles that I adore (yet they terrify my husband, who is creeped out by this piece, hehe!). Throwing geological science out the window for once (hey, it's FANTASY right?) I've included a gorgeous dark haired mermaid with these perilous monsters of the deep. These fine art mermaid prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 8.5"x11" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame, and the 13"x19" size fits a standard 12"x16" frame. Canvas prints are Hand Embellished, measure 11"x14" and are limited to an edition of 25.
