Crown of Shells - a magnificent portrait of a maiden - probably some mermaid princess (she's got a bit of a haughty look to her) with a shining crown of seashells. Her bust is accented with seaweed and coral, and (as I do obsess on them) a nautilus shell. I've got loads of seashells lying around my art desk here and this was a wonderful excuse to paint them! This really is a lovely painting! These fine art prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 8.5"x11" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame. Canvas prints are Hand Embellished, measure 11"x14" and are limited to an edition of 25. The copyright watermark does not appear in the actual art! See left for details of the painting.
