"Dinosaur Friends I" is the title - possibly my favourite painting I've done yet! Anybody know me when I was five? Remember my "dinosaur friends?" They were allegedly "imaginary" friends of mine I had when I was a kid. An amateur paleontologist even then, I remember them more clearly and distinctly than I do most of my other friends from that age. So I thought I'd create a series of paintings inspired by them. This litle girl has dinosaur friends as well (but seems to have a much nicer house than I did!). This time she has a stegosaurus, a triceratops and a little baby dino, and they're getting cozy on the stunning Rococo couch. I love the shading in this one. Savvy fans may recognize that she apparently has a copy of my "Marie Masquerade" painting on her wall, hehe. These fine art prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 11"x8.5" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame, and the 19"x13" size fits a standard 12"x16" frame. Canvas prints are Hand Embellished, measure 14"x11" and are limited to an edition of 25. The copyright watermark does not appear in the actual print! See left for details of this beautiful fairy picture.
