I will be at the Orlando Museum of Art on Thursday, April 3rd for the “Going Baroque” show!

The event is held from 6pm-9pm, and I have one painting included in the show, which will be making her debut (Stilleven VI: Het Portret). This is not a public appearance or convention event, it is a special exhibit at the Orlando Musuem of Art for their 90th Anniversary 1st Thursdays event. I won’t have stuff for sale (other than my debut painting of course, that will be available for purchase), or be signing autographs, this is a museum show that will have 49 pieces from contemporary artists inspired by the Baroque art movement in some way. It is held concurrently with the “Rembrandt, Rubens, Gainsborough and the Golden Age of Painting” exhibit featuring fabulous old master paintings from the European Baroque.

This one-night event is a perfect opportunity to support the museum as well as local artists, enjoy the contemporary “Going Baroque” First Thursdays show, as well as see the special Golden Age of Painting exhibit showcasing some of the best historical artwork ever to visit Orlando.

Live music, cash bars serving wine, beer, soft drinks and water, and café offerings from area restaurants.

I will be there for most of the evening, just to enjoy the show, socialize, chat about art – please come out & say hi, and enjoy both shows! Admission to this event is free for Museum Members, $10 for non-members, and includes access to the Museum’s featured exhibitions as well as the Going Baroque show. Parking is free at Orlando Loch Haven Park and overflow parking is available at the Orlando Science Center’s parking garage for $5 per vehicle.
