Hamadryad is a name for a type of tree nymph / wood spirit. They are creatures deeply tied to their individual trees. I've painted one such nymph - branches growing from and into her hair - in a rather animated tree (several green man style faces in there) in a mystical forest glade, next to a beautiful shimmering lake. Based off of a creek in Shawnee Mission Park, Kansas (good luck finding the nymph there!). (Pssst....PLEASE NOTE - in case you were worried, lol, there is no actual nudity in this painting!). These fine art prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 8.5"x11" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame, and the 13"x19" size fits a standard 12"x16" frame. Canvas prints are Hand Embellished, measure 11"x14" and are limited to an edition of 25. The copyright watermark does not appear in the actual print! See left for details.
