Lady with a Bosch Egg - with several nods to master Hieronymus Bosch - his fantastical elements - this piece really celebrates my love for medieval and renaissance art. This wide eyed renaissance beauty holds Bosch's strange egg creature amongst a desolate landscape, the muted colours really giving this painting an Old World feel. It was truly a joy for me to paint, and I can hardly stop looking at it myself! Hieronymus Bosch is a huge influence on my work - a big part of the reason I became interested in gothic and fantasy art. My own lowbrow big eyed take Bosch's work (also with hints of Cranach and da Vinci in there) - a celebration of my love for Art History in general as well. These fine art fairy prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border.
