La Sirena - the mermaid - a folklore character (who appears on the Mexican la Loteria cards), whom I adore. I've painted her with a Dia de los Muertos theme (Day of the Dead) - tiny skulls and flowers adorn her. This originally had a gorgeous frame that Matt & I made ourselves - the original had little 3d versions of my girls as well as neat sugar skulls and an emerging wooden skeleton in the center. These prints of the original have the picture (as shown) with the image of the frame printed on the paper as well. **PLEASE NOTE: The original painting was oddly shaped and on wood, so I've put this print image on a solid rectangular background - so this way it would look great framed or matted in a standard frame OR custom matted. The open edition prints are on a white background as shown, the CANVAS prints are on a BLACK background (not shown). These prints are NOT FRAMED - the picture of the original frame is in the printed image on the print itself as shown. These fine art fantasy prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 8.5"x11" size has a printed image of 5.5"x10.5" and the 13"x19" size has a printed image of 9.5"x18" . Canvas prints are Hand Embellished, have a printed image of about 10"x16.5" on a BLACK background and are limited to an edition of 25 and are on a BLACK background with a white mounting border. The copyright watermark does not appear in the actual print! See below for detail images.
Details of La Sirena print - please note, this is a flat print, the image of the frame is PRINTED on the paper.
