"Loup-Garou: La Tristesee" - a beautiful installment in my very popular "Loup-Garou" series (French for "werewolf") - all featuring wolves and beautiful girls in French-inspired portrait settings. This one has a very Rococo feel to it - an ornate sofa is out in a mysterious forest - the girl (a vampire? a werewolf? a princess?) looks sadly at her wolf companions. "La Tristresse" means "the sadness" or "the sorrow." I think this is my favourite so far of the series (but I say that with each new one....)! These fine art mermaid prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. Please note: This was a longer, wider painting than usual, so the prints correspond proportionally. The 11"x8.5" size has a printed image of approx. 10.5"x7", the 19"x13" size has a printed image of 18"x12". Canvas prints are Hand Embellished, the printed image measures 16"x11" and are limited to an edition of 25. The copyright watermark does not appear in the actual print! See left for details.
