The eighth installment in my very popular long-running "Loup-Garou" series (French for "werewolf") - all featuring wolves and beautiful girls in French-inspired portrait settings. This one has a very Rococo feel to it - and rightfully so! "Le Temple" means (surprise, surprise) "The Temple". Specifically the temple in the background is based on architect Richard Mique's "Temple of Love" which he built for Marie Antoinette's garden at Versailles. I visited the Temple last month on a visit to Versailles and decided to paint it since it was so lovely. A beautiful maiden is enjoying the garden, surrounded by her wolf companions. These fine art prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border.
