Mermaid Eclipse! Earlier this year while out in the middle of the ocean, I unexpectedly saw an eclipse at sea. It was amazing, and definitely inspired this painting. The corona of the eclipse is mirrored in the eyes of the mermaid - the red glow really does occur sometimes when the sea is lit by the eerie light of an eclipse.... These fine art mermaid prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 8.5"x11" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame, and the 13"x19" size fits a standard 12"x16" frame. Canvas prints are Hand Embellished, measure 11"x14" and are limited to an edition of 25.
