Persephone - Greek Goddess (aka Proserpine or Proserpina) - she was tricked into eating four pomegranate seeds and has to spend a few months out of the year in the Underworld with Hades. When she comes back, the Earth (her mother, the Goddess Demeter) rejoices and hence we have Spring! These fine art prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 8.5"x11" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame, and the 13"x19" size fits a standard 12"x16" frame.
