"Phoenix Tattoo" - dedicated to all of my fans out there who kept asking me - "When are you going to paint a Phoenix?" - here you go! The phoenix is a mythological bird of flames - also a very powerful symbolic totem animal. I do love the phoenix, and enjoyed painting him! In my painting I have shown a lovely girl clutching (perhaps riding?) a phoenix - he is her protector, and a symbol for rising through her hardships, better than before! She also has a tribal style tattoo of a phoenix on one arm, very cool. These fine art prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 8.5"x11" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame, and the 13"x19" size fits a standard 12"x16" frame.
