The Violet Duchess - hauntingly lovely - a Rococo style portrait of a slightly sinister duchess. This is my interpretation of a fictional traditional Rococo court style portrait, but with a sort of lowbrow big eyed gothic element to it. Her elaborate outfit and extravagant hairstyle are painted with a lot of detail (used my tiny brushes on this one, hehe!) - it really is a beautiful painting. These fine art prints are made from my own original acrylic painting. Open Edition prints are on glossy photo paper and measurements include a white mounting border. The 8.5"x11" size fits a standard 8"x10" frame, and the 13"x19" size fits a standard 12"x16" frame. Canvas prints are Hand Embellished, measure 11"x14" and are limited to an edition of 25.
